Reuterin®

Reuterin® is a probiotic made up of live lactic acid bacteria containing the single species Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938. Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 colonizes the intestine, and is able to promote the balance of the intestinal bacterial flora.

Is Reuterin® safe?
Many published scientific works have documented the safety of Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 in adults, children and infants (including premature infants).

How to use Reuterin®
Reuterin® tablets
Chew or swallow 1-2 tablets daily before or after meals.
Reuterin® drops
Take 5 drops daily, corresponding to at least 108 CFU of Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938, before or after meals. The drops may be swallowed directly or mixed with water or any other cold drinks. In infants, Reuterin® can be mixed with milk at the intake temperature (up to 37 °C).
Do not mix with the boiling milk.

How to store Reuterin®
Reuterin® drops must be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8 °C.

Reuterin® tablets can be stored at room temperature (max 25 °C).

Before taking, check the expiration date printed on the box.

Attention: Reuterin® can be taken by people intolerant to lactose or gluten.
